The Portland Development Commission and the Mayor’s office requested more contemporary architecture in downtown Portland. In response, Ankrom Moisan designed the 18-story mixed use Eliot Tower featuring a glass window wall with a Mondrian-like composition of solids and voids that provide residents with dramatic floor to ceiling views of the city.
The building features 223 units in a variety of styles including traditional floor plans, lofts, town homes and penthouse suites. Unit amenities include wood floors, high ceilings, granite counters, gas fireplaces and stainless steel appliances. Building amenities include concierge service, library, fitness center, secure parking and third floor terrace common area.
The Eliot is located in downtown’s Cultural District and across the street from the Portland Art Museum. It is close to shopping, dining and the arts. The building sits on Portland’s streetcar line which provides convenient access to downtown, The Pearl District, NW 23rd and the South Waterfront.
