The SOWA (South Waterfront) area is a totally new development rising from what was formerly industrial land next to the Willamette River. It is a close-in neighborhood that is located south of downtown between Riverplace and John's Landing. This new community will have easy access to the city center by trolley and to OHSU by tramway.
